Social media is a huge part of our lives. It is used in everything and present everywhere. All use it, our friends use it, celebrities etc. About 3.1 7 billion users of internet available in the world. With availability of high internet users give rise to internet or social media trolling. If you considered yourself to be pretty active on social media or other types of online communities you may have experience what many savvy internet user call "internet trolls" or "being trolled". Although many people use the term in contexts where a sense of humour is appreciated, the truth is that internet trolling can get pretty nasty and isn't always a laughing matter. Trolls can be found in every corners of the web. These trolls can cause the harm to the life of the people including businesses and the general well being too.
What is trolling??
Basically, in online trolling,a person who is a troller says something controversial in order to get someone's attention or to get price of the users. Usually those who are active user of social media mostly experienced trolling in one way or other ways. As a teenager we all witnessed lots of trolling and the most prominent can be said to YouTube. On every video we see the comments like "this video sucks", "you don't know what you were talking about" referring to the number of people who disliked that video. Trolling also can be found on different sites like Facebook,Instagram, Twitter.
Dealing with trolls
Just try to ignore the trolls received by you. They're worth your time. You can report the troll to an administrator or site owner as they know how to deal with them and will let you know whether to block or just leave it. put your privacy setting on your account, profile pictures etc. don't share your private info until and unless you are not sure about that person or particular site. Don't do any sort of arguments that at last becomes your headache only.
